Eighteen Ventures, One Summit: Inside the Great Rift Valley

The Great Rift Valley Innovation Summit and Accelerator is a venture-building platform that sources, de-risks, and supports early-stage companies for impact-oriented growth in Ethiopia.

In its inaugural cycle, the platform supported 18 companies: 8 growth-stage Legacy Builders and 10 early-stage Young Innovators across healthcare, education, and agriculture.

Legacy Builders like Life Line Addis expanded home-based healthcare visits and hired 110+ medical professionals. GlobeDock Academy grew learners by 30% and launched a GPT-powered learning system with a 22-person team.

Innovation here is not charity theater. It is a bridge — diaspora capital and local brilliance meeting in Addis and beyond.
